Site Engineer for Post Installed Anchors Field Change Design

TVO is having the OL3 Nuclear Power Plant built by Areva and Siemens consortium and several of their subcontractors. We are now looking for the following professional to work for our client company Areva NP based in OL3 site:

Site Engineer for Post Installed Anchors Field Change Design

to work as part of the FCD (Field Change Design) team under the instructions of Team Leader FCR and Engineering Manager of the Building Completion Group on OL3 construction site.

The main duties include handling Post Installed Anchor Plates (PIAP) Field Change Requests (FCR), preparation, checking and reviewing of documents and reports related to scope and Calculation and design of standard and non-standard post installed anchorages. Besides this, you will also prepare design Statements and carry out Site and work shop inspections related to scope. Other duties include acting as a contact person for both Back office and Design subcontractors and Quality department with matters related to scope.

To succeed in this position, you need to hold a Master or Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering as well as have at least a couple of years of work experience on similar duties. You should also demonstrate strong knowledge on technical design and coordination activities and be fluent in English, both written and spoken. You should also have some experience on AutoCad, SofiCad and Static Software (Trimas, RSTAB, STAAD.Pro) and possess an analytical mindset. The ability to work under pressure and as a part of an international work environment and team is highly appreciated.
