Piping Supervisor

TVO is having the OL3 Nuclear Power Plant built by Areva and Siemens consortium and several of their subcontractors. We are now looking for the following professional to work for our client company Areva NP based on OL3 site:

PIPING SUPERVISOR

To supervise the piping activities on OL3 construction site as a part of the supervising team. In this role, you will supervise, follow and report the works of the nominated subcontractors according to contract requirements. Besides this, you will also ensure the coordination of piping activities with other ongoing activities as well as making sure the erection is compliant with the quality requirements.

To succeed in this position, You need to have a technical education as well as at least 5 – 10 years of work experience on similar duties (positioning, support, welding). Additionally, You should possess strong supervising skills, preferably you have lead a team of more than 20 persons for several years. Besides this, you should also be fluent in English, both written and spoken; Finnish and German is beneficial. Capacity to work autonomously and as a part of a multinational site and team is also beneficial as are skills of prioritising and knowledge on Nuclear Safety Culture.
