Site Safety Officer / Toimeksiantaja

TVO is having the OL3 Nuclear Power Plant built by Areva and Siemens consortium and several of their subcontractors. We are now looking for the following professional to work for our client company based in OL3 site:

SITE SAFETY OFFICER

The main duties include:
- Anticipate difficulties and propose alternative ways of working
- Preliminary review of the Risk Assessment / Method statement submitted by the contractors
- Check the implementation on site of safety rules and mitigation measures defined in the Risk Assessment
- Manage the safety inspection on site with contractors; follow up corrective actions defined during the inspection
- Closely work with supervisors to have a good knowledge of the coming activities and involve them in the daily safety

The Requirements for this position include:
- Fluency in both Finnish and English (written and spoken)
- At least some years of work experience on construction site (Civil Work)
- Electro-Mechanical background is a benefit
