Psychological Assessment
A psychological assessment supports the decision-making process by offering an objective third-party view. Decision-making can be greatly improved with the aid of psychological assessments, which also help managers to recognise the factors involved in making a recruitment decision.
At Proselectum, psychological assessments are conducted by professionals who rely on theory-grounded knowledge of organisational behaviour and job performance, as well as practical experience in the work environment. Only reliable and valid assessment methods are used in the psychological assessments. The target of a suitability assessment is to predict the person's work performance in comparison to the criteria given by the client. We co-operate closely with Cresco Ltd, and some of our methods were developed at Cresco.
Our Principles
Proselectum’s psychological assessments are conducted only by licensed psychologists. We tailor the assessment process to the client’s needs and situation. We find it extremely important that we treat the people we assess with respect and co-operate with them fully. We abide by the labour code regarding assessment of individuals and follow the recommendations given by the Finnish Psychological Association.
Psychological Assessment Service
A psychological assessment can be applied in the following situations:
• When a new person is being selected for a position, psychological assessment can provide support for the recruitment decision. The candidate can be either an internal candidate already working for the company or an external candidate.
• It is useful when a company wants to assess current personnel and the performance of key resources and investigate the future possibilities and resources of the personnel.
• In career planning, a psychological assessment provides valuable insights.
• During organisational changes, psychological assessments are often used for team-building, repositioning of staff, and support for managers.
