Proselectum Privacy Principles

General information

In accordance with Oy Proselectum Ab's operating principles, personal information is treated with the utmost respect and in accordance with the Finnish privacy protection law.

Objectives in the handling of personal information

Proselectum collects information pertinent to recruitment, psychological assessments, hiring, and staffing services only with an applicant's approval. This information is used in order to provide our clients with the unique professionals they need. 

Collection of information

Proselectum collects the applicant’s personal information directly from the candidate. The information collected may cover the candidate’s career, skills, educational background, and other relevant data related to the recruitment.

Use and keeping of information

Only the recruitment and direct search consultants assigned to a specific case will use the personal information provided to them. The consultants are bound by professional confidentiality in using the information related to a specific assignment, and they are educated in, and kept abreast of, relevant privacy protection issues.
An applicant’s personal information is stored in an electronic database, which is protected by passwords, user IDs, and other technical mechanisms to ensure confidentiality. Information in any other form is stored in a locked cabinet.

Passing on of information

Personal information collected by Proselectum will not be surrendered outside Proselectum, its partner businesses, or staffing client companies without the applicant’s permission.

Informing the applicant

All applicants have a right to know what information about them is stored in Proselectum’s database unless the law states otherwise.

A final note

As Proselectum’s operations evolve, the above privacy protection principles may change and be updated. Nevertheless, the applicant’s interests and protection will always be honoured. For this reason, Proselectum asks that applicants regularly check the updated version of our privacy protection principles.
