Marika Salko-Aho, human resources assistant at Areva NP

Marika Salko-Aho works via Proselectum in Areva NP as a human resources assistant. She has held this position since summer 2010. Here is what she says about her duties and Proselectum's service:

'The hectic work site brings its own challenges to the work, so, despite certain routines, no two days are the same. I would describe my work as a versatile function in the HR field. I have been able to familiarise myself with the basic administration, invoicing, working hour monitoring, arrangement of training, and issues related to occupational health. In addition to versatile duties, the best thing in my work is the team, where all are passionate about their work.

I was working in Norway when I decided to apply for the open position. I got my first contact from Proselectum, and my impression of the contacts and management of the whole project is still positive: the process was clear, and I had a clear view of the situation at all times; communication was open and frequent.

Earlier I worked via other personnel service companies. In comparison to these other companies, working via Proselectum feels as if I were working directly for the customer company. I feel, however, that I am being "taken care of" also by Proselectum. It is always nice to get a phone call where somebody is asking how I am. In my opinion, Proselectum differs from other personnel service companies in its flexibility and genuine attention.'
